Transitioning to Raw Vegan

It’s safe to say that most of us did not grow up eating a raw vegan diet. That means there’s going to be a period where we unlearn and then learn how to incorporate new foods and attitudes. Mentally and physically it is an adjustment - here are some tips to help make it as smooth as possible!

Be sure to clear out any tempting unhealthy foods; be mindful of self-talk; connect with others on this path; learn about common pitfalls so you know what to avoid; explore fruits outside of your standard selection; invest in simple kitchen tools; and find recipes that will provide a satisfying alternative to your old cooked food favorites.
